When you place an order with Gingerbread's Kitchen it will be deemed that the T & C's have been read, understood and agreed. Please contact me should you have any questions or queries.
Allergens and specialist diets
Gingerbread's Kitchen is dedicated to producing products using only NON-GLUTEN containing ingredients to reduce the risk of any contamination. We only buy produce for reliable stockists and won't use any items that state 'may contain traces of wheat/gluten' in our products. We will be having a small selection of our menu tested for gluten content by a UK laboratory as recommended by Coeliac UK, we will then advertise these set products as Gluten Free, however other items listed/requested or as a bespoke order will be labelled as 'products made using NON-GLUTEN containing ingredients'.
All our products are cooked in a kitchen that processes other food allergens including but not limited too, tree nuts, peanuts, eggs, milk, soya beans, fish and crustacean shellfish.
Please discuss any dietary requirements you have prior to placing an order and we will endeavour to accommodate your request.
We can also produce all our bakes, cakes and meals in our separate domestic kitchen using regular wheat flour. This kitchen is completely separate from the main professional kitchen (our dedicated kitchen to using only non-gluten containing ingredients) and both parts of the business operate independently to ensure that the Free From side of the business is never compromised.
I have full public liability insurance and my home is insured to carry out a baking business from home. I am registered with the local authority and have been awarded a 5 star food hygiene rating. I hold a Level 2 Food Safety certificate along with a Gluten Free Catering Certificate from Coeliac UK. In addition I have completed City and Guilds Level 2 and 3 in Professional Catering.
I have completed an awareness training course on Covid-19 and operate in a Covid-19 secure manner and will maintain high levels of both kitchen and personal hygiene at all times. All collections will be made according to social distancing guidelines.
Prices and payment
Prices are as advertised for set products on the website. For bespoke requests the price will be agreed at the point of placing an order. Please be aware that any amendments made to a confirmed order may incur additional costs.
Payment will be needed at the time of booking to secure your order, this can be by BACS transfer or by PayPal but will discuss this with you at the point of ordering.
Amendments and Cancellations
A collection date will be agreed at the point of order, all my bakes and meals are freshly made for you so I am unable to accept cancellations within 72 hours of the collection date. If you have any amendments to your order please liaise directly with me and I will endeavour to accommodate your request dependent on how far I am in progress with your order. Please note amendments may occur additional charges.
If for any reason, such as ill health or technical issues within the kitchen, I am unable to fulfil your order I will make contact with you directly and without delay to arrange for monies paid to be refunded or reschedule a collection date.
Collection will be at a pre-arranged time from Gingerbread's Kitchen. We do not provide a delivery service however we can discuss the option of using a courier to deliver goods to your door. This would be discussed on an individual order basis as not all goods would withstand delivery, particularly by post. All courier costs and additional packaging costs would need to be paid for at the point of confirming the order and Gingerbread's Kitchen would be unable to refund any monies for goods damaged on delivery.
